Ending Workplace TB (EWTB) has been strengthened by the addition of four major new Fancophone partners.
The new companies: Kribi, Menara Holdings, Sanofi, and Total Cameroun, Kribi join the dozen companies who announced their support on World TB Day 2021, and the three founding companies: Johnson and Johnson, Fullerton Health, and Royal Philips. Further group launches are planned in the coming months as the network continues to grow.
EWTB's primary focus is on supporting companies to improve their own workplace health offerings, making sure that workers are protected, as much as possible, from the spread of TB in the workplace. Due to the strong overlaps between COVID-19 and TB, many of the interventions that EWTB proposes could not only benefit TB, but also COVID and other respiratory infections, and in some cases, support worker health across almost all conditions - for example, through enhanced social protection.
EWTB is supported by the Stop TB Partnership and the STBP Private Sector Constituency, the Global Fund to Fight HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria, the World Economic Forum, and Johnson & Johnson.
